Wolves Sneak Past Arrows, 4-3
The Toronto Wolves did just enough to secure a victory over the Milwaukee Arrows, 4-3, in 13 innings at Dominion Stadium. Nobody did more than pitcher Don Bradner. At 62-78, the Wolves claim 5th place in the Continental Association East.

The Wolves were down to their final out when first baseman Chick Reed turned a 2-2 fastball from Eddie Morrison into a 2-run single. The walk-off single made the Dominion Stadium crowd go wild.

"We take it day by day here," said Reed, "and today was a good one for us."
