Dellinger was 3-4 with a home run, a triple, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Jay Hunt picked up the win, lifting his record to 9-5 on the season. Early in the game, left fielder Johnny Adams had a 2-run home run for Houston. It was his 14th home run of the season and put the Comets on top, 2-0.
