Ralph Hanson had a big 2-run double for the Saints in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Montreal leading 3-2 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he got a sinker from Charlie Warren, who is tied for 3rd in the CA in strikeouts with 144, and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 13th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Saints ahead, 5-2.
Montreal manager Johnny Gilbert called it "a pretty good win."
