Williams Pounds HR #300
It's official. Paul Williams of the Cleveland Foresters hit his 300th home run tonight.

The Cleveland Foresters took on the Chicago Cougars and downed them 8-4, but the big story of the night was the milestone home run for Williams. He rounded the bases with a smile and politely stepped on home plate and walked back to the dugout.

"300 is a big number, and I am thankful for the ability to get to this milestone. But it's all about the team today, my accomplishments are just one piece to the Foresters puzzle."

The Foresters first baseman went 2-for-3 with 1 home run and 1 run batted in as the Cleveland Foresters topped the Chicago Cougars.

In his career, Williams has accumulated a .306 batting average with 2010 hits. His totals include 417 doubles, 36 triples, 300 home runs, 518 strikeouts, 1178 runs scored, 1274 RBIs and a lifetime .424 OBP.
