Minutemen Paste 4-3 Loss on Chiefs | Both teams had their opportunities, but in the end, the Boston Minutemen got the win.
The Boston Minutemen picked up a win at Whitney Park, dropping the Chicago Chiefs, 4-3. Andy Logue, who is tied for 7th in the FA in innings pitched with 197.0, was the difference-maker. The Minutemen sport a record of 53-86.
The result might have been different, had it not been for 24-year old center fielder Bobby Martinez. Martinez had a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Minutemen ahead, 4-3. For the game, Martinez had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Martinez. | |
