| Los Angeles Shuts Out St. Louis, 5-0 | Los Angeles Suns right-hander Heinie Schmidt used his full arsenal to shoot down the St. Louis Pioneers, 5-0. All day long, he exhibited fine command of all his pitches, giving up no walks and striking out 9. Schmidt allowed 5 hits in the victory.
"It felt like my catcher and I were on the same page all day, and St. Louis was on a way, way different page," Schmidt said.
