Wranglers Stumble, Lose to Cougars
Chicago Cougars starter Andy Logue had all his pitches working at Norris Stadium. His stellar performance paved the way for an easy 11-1 Chicago win over the Dallas Wranglers. Logue, now 8-13, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 5, walking 3, and allowing 1 run. The Wranglers have now dropped 5 straight.

Chicago left fielder Byron Burnett contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the fifth. With two down, he hit a cutter to right field for a 2-run single. It was his 23rd hit of the season and put the Cougars ahead, 3-0.
