| Wolves Dealt 9-4 Loss by Dallas | The Dallas Wranglers knocked off the Toronto Wolves, 9-4, in Continental Association action at Norris Stadium. Dallas pitcher and Knoxville, Tennessee, native Jack Meeks had an outstanding performance. In 7.1 innings, Meeks surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 3 and walking 0. He allowed 4 runs. The 4th-place Wranglers now have a win-loss record of 67-68.
Meeks had a key at-bat in the bottom of the second to put Dallas in front, 2-0. With the bases loaded, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run off Toronto pitcher Stan Terry.
