Dynamos Trip Suns, 7-5 | Enthusiastic fans came out to support the home team at Wilshire Park.
Joe Reed was a major contributor to the 7-5 Detroit win over Los Angeles. The Dynamos shortstop went 2-3 with a home run and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2. Don Lea was the winner. He's now 2-1. The loser was 28-year old right-handed pitcher Grant Davis.
Virgil Ewing, the Detroit third baseman, contributed a 2-run single in the top of the fifth inning to make the score 5-4, Dynamos. For the game, Ewing went 1-4, while adding 2 RBI.
"If I do my job, we've usually got a good chance to win the game," said Reed.
