| Walker Now 7-7 After Beating Cannons | Hank Walker, who is tied for 10th in the CA with a 1.30 WHIP, had a strong outing for the Chicago Cougars against the Cincinnati Cannons at Tice Memorial Stadium II. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 2-0 win. The Cougars now have a record of 62-50 with the win over Cincinnati.
Walker made it look effortless. He scattered 3 hits over 8.1 innings, while racking up 8 strikeouts. The Chicago right-hander encountered little resistance from the Cincinnati hitters. His season record is now 7-7.
"I was talking to myself on the mound, saying 'attack, attack, attack, stay convicted, no matter what,'" said Walker.
