Getting an impressive start from Jay Hunt, Houston beat Washington by the score of 6-0. The second-place Comets now sit at 72-62.
It was a masterful performance from the popular Hunt, who notched 7 strikeouts in 8.1 innings while allowing 4 hits. Hunt, who is a two-time All-Star, goes to 10-9 on the year with 125 strikeouts.
