The Los Angeles Suns topped the Baltimore Clippers, 9-3, in Federal Association action at Wilshire Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Los Angeles second baseman Adolph Young. Pete Meissner picked up the win, improving his season record to 13-9. He struck out 3 in 6.1 innings. Los Angeles has run its win streak to 5 consecutive.

Eddie Kellum was a prime factor in the win for the Suns. In the bottom of the third with one out, the fan favorite hit a run-scoring single. He was 2-3 with a double, a walk, and was hit by a pitch.
