The Toronto Wolves had to overcome a fine effort from Dallas pitcher Pete Rosenbaum to win, 5-4, at Norris Stadium. Rosenbaum went 7 innings and allowed 3 runs. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for Toronto.

Toronto used the timely hitting of Herb Runnels to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Wolves on top, 5-3. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.
