| Dynamos Win at Boston, 7-3 | A good performance from center fielder Gil Jones helped the Detroit Dynamos defeat the Boston Minutemen, 7-3. Jones was 2 for 5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for the Dynamos. With the victory, the Dynamos upped their record to 68-64.
Early in the game, Jones had a 2-run double for Detroit. It was his 10th double of the season and put the Dynamos on top, 2-0.
"We're all about heart and hustle on this team. That's what wins ballgames," Jones told the Detroit News.
