Wranglers Nudge Past Foresters, 7-6
The 7-6 Dallas win over Cleveland was due largely to Chuck Armstrong. The Wranglers left fielder was 3-5 with a home run and a triple, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. Clarence Miller claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. His record stands at 6-5. The winning streak has now reached 7 games for the Wranglers.

Armstrong had a game-changing triple in the top of the ninth. On a first pitch sinker from Lynn Horn, he banged a run-scoring triple to right-center, giving the Wranglers a 7-6 lead. It was the 2nd triple of the year for Armstrong.

"I like the roll we're on," said Dallas manager Tom Aiello.
