The Toronto Wolves beat the Kansas City Mavericks, 5-3, at Dominion Stadium. Bob Reynolds, in particular, was impressive. He was 2 for 4 with a triple. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Stan Terry, who finished 5th in the CA in innings pitched with 272.2 in 1972, was the winner. He's now 2-11. The loser was Harry Kluth. Dick Miller was credited with the save. Early in the game, Reynolds had a 2-run triple for Toronto. It was his 4th triple of the season and put the Wolves on top, 2-0.
