| Kansas City 5-3 Losers to Wolves | Dominion Stadium was the site of a competitive game between the Kansas City Mavericks and Toronto Wolves.
The Toronto Wolves beat the Kansas City Mavericks, 5-3, at Dominion Stadium. Bob Reynolds, in particular, was impressive. He was 2 for 4 with a triple. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Stan Terry, who finished 5th in the CA in innings pitched with 272.2 in 1972, was the winner. He's now 2-11. The loser was Harry Kluth. Dick Miller was credited with the save.
