| Cormier goes 4-for-4 to Fuel Arrows Offense | Milwaukee and San Francisco duked it out and the Arrows came out victorious.
The Milwaukee Arrows defeated the San Francisco Sailors, 4-1. Right Fielder Bud Cormier deserved a large share of the credit. Cormier was 4-4 with a home run, 3 singles, and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Arrows. Jim Hart earned the save, his 19th in 24 tries.
Cormier had a timely hit for Milwaukee in the top of the seventh. With Milwaukee trailing 1-0, he turned a 3-1 fastball into a grand slam home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season, making it 4-1, Milwaukee.
"Getting the win feels nice," said Cormier. "More importantly, I had a good game."
