| Big Day for Howard as Mavericks Down Wolves, 11-5 | The performance of Bob Howard proved critical in helping Kansas City beat Toronto, 11-5. The Mavericks third baseman was 3 for 4 with a triple, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. The winning pitcher was Cal Newman. His record now stands at 6-12.
