| Hamilton goes 4-for-4, Leads Gothams to Win | Gothams shortstop Sam Hamilton left his mark on his team's 4-2 win over the Chicago Chiefs. Hamilton, who is tied for 6th in the FA with a .870 OPS, went 4 for 4 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for New York in the contest. Bunny Mullins picked up the win, improving his season record to 15-8. He struck out 3 in 8 innings. The Gothams now have a mark of 73-56.
Making an impact for the home team was Bunny Mullins. In the bottom of the fourth, the eight-time All-Star had a run-scoring walk. That made the score 3-1, Gothams.
