Milwaukee and Seattle duked it out and the Arrows came out victorious.

The Milwaukee Arrows overcame a pretty good performance by Seattle right fielder Bob Glowacki, beating the Kings, 5-3, at Seattle Municipal Stadium. Glowacki was 2-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times. The winning pitcher was Johnny Hoskinson. His record now stands at 9-8. The right-hander went 6.1 innings, allowing 3 runs on 7 hits for the Arrows.

Moose Patrick dealt the Kings a blow in the top of the third. Batting with the bases loaded and Milwaukee leading 1-0, Patrick hit a 2-1 fastball for a run-scoring single.

"Baseball is about momentum," said Patrick, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."

The loss makes Seattle 82-46.
