Speaking after the game, Seattle Kings manager Alex Watt said "Rushing had everything going for him today. He changed speeds effectively, stayed down, had a lot of movement. He was masterful."

Rushing rung up 4 strikeouts and surrendered no walks in the game.

"We couldn't get anything going. He certainly had our number," Cincinnati manager Charlie Britton told reporters.
