Dunham, now 11-6, was the winner. In 8.2 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 8, walking 2, and allowing 2 runs. With the win, the Stars hiked their record to 65-62.
In the bottom of the fifth, Los Angeles third baseman Ralph Barrell had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and one out, Barrell stroked a 2-run single to center. It made the score 4-2, Los Angeles. For the game, he was 1 for 4 with a walk, while adding 2 RBI.
