Comets Pick Up 7-4 Win Against Boston
The Houston Comets locked up a win at Dalton Domed Stadium, knocking off the Boston Minutemen, 7-4. On the mound for Houston was right-hander Spencer Reese. He played a major role in the triumph. Houston is now 69-59, while Boston is 47-77.

Houston second baseman Maury Moore contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the first. With two down, he hit a sinker to left field for a 2-run single. It was his 119th hit of the season and put the Comets ahead, 3-0.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Moore told the Houston News.
