Cannons Roll to 8-1 Win Over Foresters
A good performance from first baseman Charlie Ham helped the Cincinnati Cannons defeat the Cleveland Foresters, 8-1. Ham went 2 for 3 with a home run and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Cannons. The Cannons, at 50-43, sit in 5th place in the Continental Association.

With Cincinnati leading 2-0 in the bottom of the third, Ham hit a curveball from Jack Miller for a grand slam home run. It was his 11th home run of the season and put the Cannons ahead, 6-0.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Cincinnati manager Buddy Baumgart.
