Keystones Clip Foresters, 7-6, in WCS Contest | The Philadelphia Keystones defeated the Cleveland Foresters, 7-6, in Game 2 of the World Championship Series. Making an impact was right fielder Buddy Miller, who was 2-4 with 2 singles and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. The win moves Philadelphia into a 1-1 tie with Cleveland in the series.
In the bottom of the sixth, with Philadelphia leading 5-2, Lloyd Coulter hit a changeup from Sonny Stoyer for a 2-run double, giving the Keystones the lead, 7-2.
"We lost," Cleveland manager Jim Whitehead said later. "We'll deal with it. The series isn't over."
