| Imperials Rally to Eke Out Win | The New York Imperials used a top-flight performance from Don Bradner, who is tied for 6th in the CA with a 1.15 WHIP, to beat the Dallas Wranglers, 2-1, in 11 innings. The winner in relief was Bud Pace. He is now 7-4. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.1 innings. The losing streak for Dallas has now reached 4 games.
The Imperials got a clutch hit from first baseman Woody Richardson. In the bottom of the 11th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Imperials.
"What a buzz," said Richardson after it was over.
