| Turner Sensational for Millers | The Minneapolis Millers knocked off the Los Angeles Suns, 7-2, in Federal Association action at Hennepin County Stadium. Minneapolis pitcher and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, native Jack Turner had an outstanding performance. With the loss, Los Angeles is 19-12.
Turner gave Minneapolis an exquisite performance. The left-hander allowed 1 run on 4 hits over 8 innings.
"For the most part, I made good pitches when I needed to," said Turner.
