The Los Angeles Suns topped the Boston Minutemen by a score of 8-5. Leading the way was shortstop Tom Lally. Lally went 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 5 runs and scored once for the Suns. Ron Clark closed the door for Los Angeles, picking up his 9th save of the year. The Minutemen fall to 9-18 and continue their unimpressive start to the 1975 season.

In the bottom of the seventh, the Suns grabbed the lead when Lally hit his 10th home run of the season. The 3-run home run off Walt Portelli made it 6-5, Los Angeles.

"This kind of win will certainly make our fans happy," Lally told the Los Angeles Times.
