| Inge Leads Atlanta Past Detroit | The Atlanta Copperheads went home winners at Peachtree Stadium, thanks in large part to starter Harry Inge. Inge stifled the Detroit Dynamos, enabling Atlanta to grab the 5-1 win. The Dynamos fall to 14-19 and continue their uneven start to the 1975 season.
Inge, the winner, is now 4-1, after putting the clamps on the Detroit offense. In 7.2 innings of work, he gave up no runs on 3 hits, while collecting 5 Ks.
"This game will punch you right in the mouth," said Inge. "My job is to show up and give my team a chance."
