Cleveland pitcher Bill Harris had a large part in his team subduing the Toronto Wolves, 4-2. The opposition could never mount much of a rally against the right-hander. Harris, now 2-4, was the winner. In 6.2 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 5, walking 4, and allowing 2 runs.

McDavitt called the win the result of "everyone working in tandem."
