| Cleveland Pockets 4-2 Win Over Kansas City | Both teams had their opportunities, but in the end, the Cleveland Foresters got the win.
The Cleveland Foresters got a stellar effort from pitcher Dick Couture, helping Cleveland score a win over the visiting Kansas City Mavericks, 4-2. Bob V James nailed down the save.
The Foresters got a big at-bat from catcher Reggie Anderson. For the game, Anderson was 1-3 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the sixth, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Cleveland a 4-2 lead.
After the game, Cleveland manager Ray Parsons applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
