Waggoner Hits 2 home runs in Dynamos Win | The Detroit Dynamos handed the Minneapolis Millers a 6-1 defeat at Thompson Field. First Baseman Ray Waggoner starred for Detroit. He hit 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Paul Anderson got the win, improving to 9-2. He held the Millers to 1 run on 3 hits over 9 innings, while striking out 5 and walking 2. The triumph puts Detroit at 43-29 for the season.
In the bottom of the third, Waggoner had a 3-run home run for Detroit. It was his 15th home run of the season and put the Dynamos on top, 3-0.
