Jim Norris, who is a three-time Allen Award winner, had a strong outing for the Detroit Dynamos against the Los Angeles Suns at Thompson Field. The left-hander was a big part of his team's 7-3 win. Detroit has run its win streak to 4 consecutive.

The Dynamos picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.

"Jim was aggressive right out of the chute," said Detroit manager Verlin Alexander.
