| Lancers Pocket 6-3 Win Against Baltimore | Detroit right-hander Andy McCay pitched his team to victory over the Baltimore Cannons at Thompson Field. The final score was 6-3. McCay, now 2-0, was the winner. In 6.2 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 1, walking 4, and allowing 2 runs. Otis Gillespie picked up the save for Detroit, his 3rd of the year.
Guy Decker, who finished 3rd in the UL in stolen bases with 41 in 1915, helped out the Detroit cause in the bottom of the second inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the third baseman was 1-4 with a triple and a walk.
"Been a rough stretch for us," said Baltimore manager Monty Beatson.
