| Kings Trip Arrows, 6-4 | The Kings grabbed a win, 6-4, at Lakefront Park, overcoming a fine effort from Milwaukee pitcher Tex Cavanaugh. Cavanaugh went 6 innings and allowed 3 runs. Picking up his 1st save was 25-year old left-handed pitcher Danny Anderson. Milwaukee now has a record of 18-11.
Jesse Walker, who finished 5th in the FA in triples with 7 in 1971, helped out the Seattle cause in the top of the second inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the third baseman was 1-3.
