Kirchner Blisters Philadelphia
Lou Kirchner had an answer for everything the Philadelphia Keystones threw at him at Broad Street Park. The Cincinnati left fielder went 5-for-6 in the game to put his name in the record book and give the Monarchs a win, 11-7.

Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Kirchner said, "I just see the ball and I hit it."

Lou Kirchner tripled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit a three-run triple in the 5th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI triple in the 8th and flied out in the 9th.

This year, Kirchner has socked 111 hits in 380 at-bats for a .292 average with 6 home runs. He is getting on base at a .359 pace and his totals also include 60 RBIs and 73 runs scored.
