Farmer 3-for-3, Kings Move to 22-13
Al Farmer was a major factor in the 9-3 Kansas City win over Toronto. The Kings second baseman was 3-3 with 2 doubles and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Kansas City is now 22-13, 2½ games up in the Continental Association.

Farmer contributed a big hit, a 2-run double, for Kansas City in the bottom of the fourth. With his team trailing 2-1, Farmer took a curveball from Phil Colantuono and stroked the double to right-center. His 7th double of the season allowed the Kings to leap in front, 3-2.

"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager Glenn Carney said.
