Los Angeles first baseman Bobby Garrison banged out 1 single and 1 double, while driving in 2 runs. George Dunnigan, the winner, is now 2-5. Mike Stevenson, who finished 4th in the CA in triples with 10 in 1971, had a direct impact on the outcome. Stevenson contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth inning to put Los Angeles up, 4-1.
