| Imperials 8-0 Winners Over Cincinnati | New York and Cincinnati put this game in the books despite some rain.
Riding the 2-hit performance of the two-time All-Star Rusty Robertson, the New York Imperials stopped the Cincinnati Cannons, 8-0, in 9 innings. New York pitcher Jim White got the win. He's now 1-0. Charlie Wolf was tagged with the loss.
New York left fielder Phil Terry helped the Imperials go up, 1-0, in the bottom of the sixth inning. With the game tied, Terry hit a run-scoring single off Cincinnati pitcher Charlie Wolf.
"Things went our way," said Robertson.
After losing, Cincinnati is 4-2.
