| Yokohama Topples Rakisuta, 4-1 | Yokohama and Rakisuta duked it out and the Kingfishers came out victorious.
Yokohama beat Rakisuta on the strength of starting pitcher Motokazu Oyama's fine effort. The left-hander led his team to a win, 4-1. The third-place Rams have dropped 5 straight games.
Yokohama catcher Kunisada Kimura delivered a solo home run in the top of the sixth. Overall, he went 3 for 5, picking up 1 home run, 1 single, and 1 double. He scored 1 run and knocked in 1.
"I thought Motokazu threw the ball well across the board," said Yokohama manager Johnny Ruby.
