| Rams Score 2-1 Win Over Yokohama | Fans saw a dandy of a game between the Rakisuta Rams and Yokohama Kingfishers.
Rakisuta left-hander Sadato Hayakawa pitched his team to victory over the Yokohama Kingfishers at Kanagawa Stadium. The final score was 2-1. Hayakawa, the winner, moves to 3-4. He threw 7 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 6 and giving up 2 walks. Kiyoshige Abe nailed down his 6th save.
Kihachi Harada had a direct impact on the outcome. Harada contributed a run-scoring ground out in the top of the first inning to put Rakisuta up, 2-0.
"There was no wiggle room in this one," said Harada.
The setback makes Yokohama 19-12.
