| Dynamics Send Rakisuta Home with 5-3 Loss | The Denki Dynamics picked up a win at Kanda Stadium, dropping the Rakisuta Rams, 5-3. Shizuma Komada, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 1974 draft, was the difference-maker. Komada, now 4-1, was the winner. In 6.2 innings, he gave up 3 hits, while striking out 3, walking 1, and allowing 3 runs. Denki is now 14-17. Rakisuta is 17-13.
Kenji Ihara had a big 2-run home run for the Dynamics in the bottom of the third inning. With Denki leading 2-0 and a runner on 2nd, he sized up a fastball from Shigeyoshi Taira, who is tied for 9th in the EL in wins with 3, and punished it. The result was his 2nd home run of the season, which put the Dynamics on top, 4-0.
"Getting the win feels nice," said Ihara. "More importantly, I had a good game."
