Bears Continue Skid, Thanks to Nomura, Rams
The Rakisuta Rams polished off the Sapporo Bears by the score of 6-2. The largest share of the credit belonged to shortstop Hideharu Nomura. Nomura was 3-3 with a home run, a triple, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for the Rams. The win puts Rakisuta at 17-11.

Kuranosuke Imakake went 1-4, while adding 2 RBI for Rakisuta. The 32-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With one out and runners on 1st and 2nd, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring single off Yoshifumi Kuramoto. It was his 19th hit of the season.
