| Denki Defeated by Hosho, 5-2 | The Hosho Reliables took on the Denki Dynamics at Nagoya Minami Stadium.
Hosho pitcher Naruto Noda had a large part in his team subduing the Denki Dynamics, 5-2. The opposition could never mount much of a rally against the right-hander. With the win, Hosho is 19-8.
Akitoshi Yamane had a big 2-run double for the Reliables in the bottom of the third inning. With Hosho leading 2-0 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he got a sinker from Hisao Ibe, who is tied for 6th in the EL in complete games with 1, and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 3rd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Reliables ahead, 4-0.
"I felt strong as a bull tonight," said Noda.
