| Kyoto Gets 10-4 Win | Soggy conditions did not keep Kyoto and Denki from playing their scheduled game.
Tadao Hasegawa left his imprint on the 10-4 Kyoto win against the Denki Dynamics. Hasegawa, who is a two-time All-Star, was 3-5 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI. The win gives Kyoto a record of 15-12.
Kyoto used the timely hitting of Takesi Hashimoto to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a 2-run single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Owls on top, 7-4. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"Feels good to get the job done," Hasegawa said after the game.
