| Kings Take Home 4-3 Win Over Philadelphia | The Brooklyn Kings did just enough to sneak past the Philadelphia Keystones, 4-3, at Broad Street Park. Brooklyn pitcher Jack Spader, in particular, had a standout performance. Earning his 2nd save of the year was Lew Davis. The loss drops Philadelphia to 3-4.
Tom Mensen, who is considered the best prospect in baseball by BNN, had a direct impact on the outcome. Mensen contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth inning to put Brooklyn up, 4-1.
"We're just going to try to build off this win," said Spader.
