Suns Earn 4-1 Win Against Eagles | The Los Angeles Suns racked up a win at Wilshire Park, bumping off the Washington Eagles, 4-1, in 11 innings. Grant Davis, who started for Los Angeles, pitched effectively for his team. Los Angeles pitcher Norm Van Dyne got the win. He's now 1-0. Jack Kessler was tagged with the loss. Los Angeles is off to a hot start at 6-0.
The climactic moment came in the bottom of the 11th for Los Angeles. That's when former first round draft pick Russ Hawkins hit a 3-run home run off Jack Kessler to win the game. The home crowd erupted in celebration.
