| Blackburn Now 15-6 After Subduing Minutemen | Houston starter Johnny Blackburn put the Boston offense in a vise grip. The right-hander relied heavily on his circle change in leading the Comets to a 5-0 win. The win lifted the Houston record to 68-59.
Blackburn allowed no runs on 3 hits over 7.2 innings for the Comets. With the win, he is 15-6 with an ERA of 2.82.
