| Gothams Win Thriller, 5-4 | The New York Gothams took on the St. Louis Pioneers at Gotham Stadium.
The New York Gothams defeated the St. Louis Pioneers, 5-4, in 11 innings in Federal Association action at Gotham Stadium. New York pitcher Curtis Robinson had a standout performance. The Gothams now have a mark of 71-56.
The Gothams nabbed the win, in part because of right fielder Fred Davis. In the bottom of the 11th, he delivered the game-winning run-scoring single.
Davis attributed the win to "an all-around good team performance."
