Fans saw a dandy of a game between the Toronto Wolves and Dallas Wranglers.

The Toronto Wolves faced a tough opponent in Dallas pitcher Larry Perry, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Dominion Stadium by a final score of 3-2. Perry went 8 innings and allowed 1 run. The win went to Bill Cox in relief, making him now 5-1. Jack Mead took the loss for Dallas.

George Rigby was the walk-off hero for Toronto. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Wolves pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"The house was rockin'," said Rigby.

Toronto has now won 4 straight, while the Wranglers have lost 3 in a row.
