Reliables Earn Win with Late Rally
There was no shortage of dramatics at Nagoya Minami Stadium.

The Hosho Reliables picked up a win at Nagoya Minami Stadium, downing the Sapporo Bears, 2-1, in 11 innings. On the mound for Hosho was right-hander Shihei Saito, who played a pivotal role in the win. Hosho, now 17-8, has played well in the early going.

The decisive blow was delivered by Hank Dunham in the bottom of the 11th when he hit a solo home run off 33-year old right-handed pitcher Eisaku Yamaoka to win the game for Hosho. The home crowd went nuts.

"You have to trust that what you're doing is going to produce results," said Saito.
