Rams Thrill Fans with 8-7 Win
Rakisuta Stadium was the site of quite a ballgame.

The Rakisuta Rams outlasted Yukio Watanabe and the Hosho Reliables, 8-7. Watanabe was impressive in the loss. The Hosho first baseman went 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 2. Rakisuta pitcher Sadatake Suzuki got the win. He's now 1-0. Motomu Taira was tagged with the loss.

Ryuuji Morimoto was the walk-off hero for Rakisuta. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Rams left fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"I'm glad I could get it done when the game was in the balance," Morimoto said in his postgame press conference.

Losses have been few and far between for the Reliables so far this season. Their record drops to 15-6.
