| Reliables Beat Kingfishers, 8-0 | A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Hosho Reliables and Yokohama Kingfishers.
The Hosho Reliables beat the Yokohama Kingfishers, 8-0. Hosho pitcher and Bando, Japan, native Naruto Noda led the way. With the win, Hosho climbs to 12-5.
With Hosho leading 1-0 in the bottom of the second, Noda hit a 2-run single off Yokohama hurler Meguru Kanda. It was the 1st hit of the season for Noda and put his team ahead, 3-0.
"Naruto was throwing strikes, locating well," said Hosho manager Shun Kawamura.
