| Reliables Win, 4-2, at Denki | The Hosho Reliables picked up a win at Kanda Stadium, knocking off the Denki Dynamics, 4-2. Starting pitcher Naruto Noda played a key role in the triumph. In 8 innings, Noda surrendered 10 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 2. He allowed 2 runs. Motomu Taira earned the save, his 7th, for the Reliables.
Hosho used the hitting of Ryunosuke Kodama to pick up the win. The center fielder clubbed a solo home run in the top of the first inning to put the Reliables on top, 1-0. For the game, Kodama had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"I thought we played some darn good baseball," said Reliables manager Shun Kawamura.
The Dynamics fall to 7-11 and continue their unimpressive start to the 1975 season.
